UCI has some great faculty (Dourish, Bonnie Nardi..) Btw, I have an admit to Indiana HCI for the Fall'2008 term. I read it for an art class and it has many interesting insights regarding a diverse set of technology-related topics. If you ever want to borrow it, just let me know.
