I offer a number of services including outside design critique, heuristic analysis, User-centered design courses, user studies, usability studies, and more…

Designing for experience is more about getting “the right design” aesthetically, emotionally, & technically. Usability is more about getting “the design right.” I work on doing both as a designer, researcher, and writer. I do not claim to have all the answers, but I know that working together we can co-create solutions.
I provide the following services:
Usability Testing (Usually includes recruiting, creation of protocol, running tests, report, and optionally a video of some of the sessions).
I am trained in and conduct a variety of qualitative inquiry techniques including: interviews, contextual analysis, ethnographic observation, focus groups, card sorting, cultural probes, affinity diagrams, and others.
Information Architecture, including helping co-create the strategy that forms the IA structure.
Wireframing, prototyping.
Outside Design Evaluation/Critique
Usability heuristic analysis
